Disc Jockeys, Night Club DJs, Karaoke Hosts (KJ), Event Announcers
Legendary 70s DJ over 30 years of experience serving the New York Tri-State Area. Non-stop professionally live mixed music with light show and priceless collection of music spanning decades.
State-of-the-art, that is the only way to describe the custom digital sound system Steven uses for medium to large events. The music originates digitally from a PC based system using a Gateway 400x Laptop computer and PCDJ FX software to control CD quality selections using a remote control, similar to that of a professional dual CD controller. An emagic 2|6 sound card feeds the Rane rotary mixer. One Sure SM-58 wired mic and one Carvin U7000MC wireless Hand-held Mic and Reciever. A Gemini CD system compliments the setup for clients who request CD playback from their collection. An Alesis compressor/limiter with gate keeps things under control. The DOD equalizer adds sparkle and finally the BBE Sonic Maximizer adds the final touches to a broadcast quality mix.
Pure sound travels from the console via balanced stereo connections to two B-52 MATRIX 1000 systems, consisting of four 10” two-way speakers and two active 15” subwoofer. The subwoofer enclosures are equipped with a three channel amplifier and all the electronics required to run the system. The electronic circuitry was fine tuned to match the two-way speakers for the best possible sound.
All of this is complimented by a modest light show. Computerized Intelligent light show also available.

How to Book the Very Best in Party Entertainment
Finding the best in Party or Wedding is easy if you follow these points.
Whether it’s your wedding or a relative’s birthday, Bar Mitzvah, Quinceanera, graduation, anniversary, house warming or it’s simply the middle of the holiday season, there’s always a good reason to throw a party, and the trick to throwing a great party is to book the right entertainment. Here are some terrific tips to help you book the very best entertainment for your next party:
Tip #1 – Know What You Are Looking For - What type of event will you be hosting? How big is your event space? Will there be a dance floor or stage? Will this be a quiet, more sophisticated affair or a lively, disco style affair? How many guests will be in attendance? What languages will they speak? What cultural differences will they have? Will you have games, contests, karaoke, slideshow or video presentations, or even a photo booth? Carefully consider as much information about the nature of your event and the guests you are inviting and draw up as thorough a list of what you will need as possible.
Tip #2 – Be Honest About What You Can Afford – Taking into account the entire list of things you’re looking for, draw up an entertainment budget. If you are unsure how much each of the services you’re looking for might cost, simply conduct a bit of online research and try to determine a ballpark estimate of each item on your list.
Tip #3 – Seek Out a Talented Professional DJ – Why a DJ over a live band? Because they can deliver most everything you need for a fraction of the cost of hiring a live band and renting from separate business for all of your extras like uplighting or photo booths. Begin your search online by Googling reputable talent agencies that specialize in promoting mobile DJs in your town. Look for agencies with professional looking websites, that have been in business the longest as they are more likely to represent the most well-respected, highly sought after DJs working today. You will also want to make sure the website is designed in a manner that makes it quick and easy for you to narrow your search by date, location and price point so you‘ll have a general idea of what you can expect to spend on the services you require.
Tip #4 – Select at Least Two Candidates to Meet for an Interview – Once you’ve found a couple of promising DJs that can deliver the services you need at a price point that fits your budget, arrange to meet them in person. Meeting them in person will allow you to better gauge their personality and expertise. Plus, you can determine that they are in fact able to fulfill all of your needs at an affordable price. Ask for a quote and make sure they provide you with a list of past clients so you can call them for references.
Party planning is stressful enough on its own. Don’t let booking your entertainment add to your burden. Follow these tips and you’re guaranteed to book the very best in party entertainment!
Your wedding DJ is responsible for most, if not all of the entertainment at your wedding reception, so it’s important you hire no one but the best. No matter where you live, there are talented DJs available when you need them at a price point you can afford. On top of recommendations from your peers, an online search of reputable agencies will provide you with a host of terrific DJs to consider.
Hiring a professional DJ can make all the difference when it comes to the success of your event. Whether you’re planning your wedding, coordinating a school or corporate event, or just throwing a good old-fashioned party, you want to hire a DJ that will provide you with the best entertainment value to fit your needs.
