Welcome to EZ Rock Entertainment. We are a full-time disc jockey company whose main goal is to make your event ideas come true. EZ Rock tries to go beyond the idea that a DJ is there to just spin music. Every dance is different, no cookie-cutter events here and we like to do what we can to help make your special occasion
even more memorable.
We would first like to congratulate you both on your announcement to exchange your wedding vows. Whether your wedding date is 2 months away or it's 2 years away, you will soon be faced with many decisions in your plans for the perfect day. At EZ Rock Entertainment we would honor the opportunity to help you do the best we can in making a wise choice for your source of entertainment. This is one of the reasons why 80% of our shows annually are either repeat customers or from people that have been referred by someone who happened to be at one of our performances.
To begin your one-of-a-kind event with EZ Rock, you and your fiancée will be invited to a one-on-one meeting with one of our staff to determine your goals and needs. We will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions, share ideas, and help you along with your planning agenda. To get your wedding ceremony and reception started, we go over some different ideas on how to help plan your memorable day. We do work with a number of wedding coordinators, caterers, photographers, and other professionals both locally and across the Mid-West to be sure everything runs professionally and smoothly. We just believe in going above and beyond to help you both out in any way possible.

In addition, your materials were presented in an organized and efficient manner ranging from CD Rom disc to paper documents and contracts. You pretty much have most of the vendors chosen for your wedding, but now onto the wedding DJ pricing. So how much does a wedding DJ cost? You will see many different wedding DJ prices. So, keep these points in mind and you will find the right one.
Cheap Wedding DJ Prices These prices will usually be in the ranges of $75 per hour or less. Many of these wedding DJ’s are part-time hobbyists. They might have no idea how to coordinate and deliver what you want at your wedding. Just call these companies and you will notice a huge difference with their customer service skills. This might be a risky deal because they might show up with low grade equipment (if they even show up at all). There is a possibility that you can spend $200-$400 on your wedding DJ and be happy, but you have to understand what cheap wedding DJ prices really mean.

Average Wedding DJ Pricing So, your biggest criteria were your budget, and you went way overboard. So, instead you and your fiancé decided to hire someone to “Just Play Music.” Do you want the good news or bad news first? Okay straight to the good news, you just saved a couple of hundred bucks! Unfortunately, your decision might cost you much more down the road. This category of wedding DJ’s is priced all over the place. Usually many are larger wedding DJ companies that subcontract 15-25 wedding DJ’s every weekend. They improve their profit margin this way (more DJ’s=smaller profit margin) to support advertisements and overhead. There are many good DJ’s that are subcontracted by these companies. However, they might be so big that you might not even know who your wedding DJ will be until the week of.
I said earlier that there is a difference between a full-time company and part-time hobbyist. A full-time company depends on your referrals to generate future leads and business. This means that they are 110% dedicated to your wedding reception. The wedding DJ cost needs be looked at with their references. Ask for recent clients’ names, phone numbers, and e-mails. When I say recent I mean 6 months or less when available. Any reputable company will be able to give you this information.

Expensive Wedding DJ Prices These people may charge anywhere from $1500-$4500. There may be added value, such as an additional DJ/wedding coordinator, lighting, staging, dancers, or props. Other times, this price is determined by an owner with an over inflated ego. If their wedding DJ cost is expensive, then this does not mean that they have instant credibility. This price might be marked up since they do not have enough word of mouth referrals yet. You should not have to take out a second mortgage to pay for your wedding DJ cost.

How Much Does a Wedding DJ Cost So, how much does a wedding DJ cost? This depends on how comfortable you are with the lighting, experience, equipment, music, and fun options. You should try unique things because your wedding is far from ordinary. This does not mean you need to break the bank with wedding DJ prices, but see what options are really worth the cost. The typical wedding DJ cost can vary from $450-$1200, and be dependant upon the amount of time your event is and miles of travel for the DJ. In the short term the wedding DJ price will be a factor in your budget, and in the long term 80% of the success of your wedding is based on the entertainment. If you want to have a great time, you will interview multiple companies.

To choose a DJ for your reception day requires a great amount of time and dedication. your reception DJ should have songs for all kinds of people to make them happy and enjoy your reception.
Sometimes it may be difficult to judge the mood of the audience as there are different types of people at every party. Keep the latest music with you and listen to all kinds of radio stations to get a wide range of music.
