BEGINNER DIGITAL DJ'ING
This 3-week course is designed as a beginner's crash course in digital DJ'ing.
DDJ 101 focuses on teaching the basics of Virtual DJ - Rane's Serato software
and is perfect for individuals who want to learn Virtual/Serato basics or want to explore the options and advantages in digital DJ'ing.
Each student will have with his/her own computer and turntable workstation.

Luis Mario's company was recommended by a friend who also used his services through Gigmasters and I was not disappointed. He worked with us on the music list and was more than prepared for my guests and their requests which were from the Sinatra to latin dancing to Prince to Pussy Cat Dolls etc and so on including songs not on my list, he had it all - his music library is something to admire. It comes across that he really loves what he does including interacting with the group. Overall experience - well worth the money spent and I would use his services over again and would not hesitate recommending him to anyone for any party!

Luis Mario was awesome! We met with him at Starbucks and as soon as we met, I knew he was our DJ! He was very attentive and when we explained the music we wanted to play. We communicated a lot and I sent him a list of songs to play. I sent it to him rather late because so much was going on, but he still pulled it all together. I was told that during the reception they wanted to set him up on the other side of the room, but he said that was not the best place to set up. I totally agree with his decision. He got to know us and what we wanted. I am so thankful for that. A lot went wrong with the wedding and reception, but he made the night wonderful! :)

Dear Luis,
Thank you once again for doing such as great job in handling the music portion for our wedding reception on May 12, 2007. As you well know Bobby’s main concern was not only finding someone who had the right music but how it would be organized and presented. We did our research via the internet and contacted a few disc jockeys to see their experience, library of music, cost and reputation but they just didn’t have what we were looking for.
We were looking for someone who had an extensive library of Latin composers from back in the day such as Hector Lavoe, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colon, La Fania All Stars, etc. I (Lynn Marie) personally remember speaking with a friend of mine that said "You will never find anyone that will have those types of selections because most of the disc jockeys coming up today only have maybe one or two but not the library you want". We were not giving up in our search and as it turned out it paid off; we found a business name of Luis Mario Entertainment and called. Growing up in New York we knew we could find someone in New York that would have those selections but would we be so lucky to find someone in Florida as the wedding was going to be held in Florida and we wanted the authentic Puerto Rican artists. In communicating the information to my fiance at the time of what we were looking for.
After talking with you, we were so excited but apprehensive because we thought it was too good to be true until we went on your website and saw your extensive library of music. We soon found out that we found our diamond in a ruff after meeting you, seeing your studio, your years of experience much of it based in New York and your professionalism. We hit the JACKPOT! There were other selections such as Caribbean, Motown, Rap, etc. that we wanted and you had it all.
Your attention to detail, dedication and passion to the industry of music and making dreams come true were more than what we expected. We experienced it prior to the wedding, during the reception and after with the extra touches making our memories to be one of the best. (Our family and friends are still talking about it)

You pretty much have most of the vendors chosen for your wedding, but now onto the wedding DJ pricing. So how much does a wedding DJ cost? You will see many different wedding DJ prices. So, keep these points in mind and you will find the right one.
Cheap Wedding DJ Prices These prices will usually be in the ranges of $75 per hour or less. Many of these wedding DJ’s are part-time hobbyists. They might have no idea how to coordinate and deliver what you want at your wedding. Just call these companies and you will notice a huge difference with their customer service skills. This might be a risky deal because they might show up with low grade equipment (if they even show up at all). There is a possibility that you can spend $200-$400 on your wedding DJ and be happy, but you have to understand what cheap wedding DJ prices really mean.

Average Wedding DJ Pricing So, your biggest criteria were your budget, and you went way overboard. So, instead you and your fiancé decided to hire someone to “Just Play Music.” Do you want the good news or bad news first? Okay straight to the good news, you just saved a couple of hundred bucks! Unfortunately, your decision might cost you much more down the road. This category of wedding DJ’s is priced all over the place. Usually many are larger wedding DJ companies that subcontract 15-25 wedding DJ’s every weekend. They improve their profit margin this way (more DJ’s=smaller profit margin) to support advertisements and overhead. There are many good DJ’s that are subcontracted by these companies. However, they might be so big that you might not even know who your wedding DJ will be until the week of.
I said earlier that there is a difference between a full-time company and part-time hobbyist. A full-time company depends on your referrals to generate future leads and business. This means that they are 110% dedicated to your wedding reception. The wedding DJ cost needs be looked at with their references. Ask for recent clients’ names, phone numbers, and e-mails. When I say recent I mean 6 months or less when available. Any reputable company will be able to give you this information.

Expensive Wedding DJ Prices These people may charge anywhere from $1500-$4500. There may be added value, such as an additional DJ/wedding coordinator, lighting, staging, dancers, or props. Other times, this price is determined by an owner with an over inflated ego. If their wedding DJ cost is expensive, then this does not mean that they have instant credibility. This price might be marked up since they do not have enough word of mouth referrals yet. You should not have to take out a second mortgage to pay for your wedding DJ cost.
