Owner Mark “Dj Big Battle AKA Heavyweight AKA Battle Cat” Adams has been a professional DJ since 1991. Originally from Queens, he hit the New York nightclub circuit at the young age of 16 along the late DJ Kaycee, the Rockaway twins, Grandmaster Vic, DJ G-Money and Boogy Black. They were a team to be reckoned with in and around New York City.
In 1994 DJ Battle moved to Atlanta, GA where he made an even bigger name for himself as one of Atlanta’s premiere DJs forming Wax Factor Entertainment with DJ Presise to promote their own parties as DJs, instead of relying on promoters and clubs. They formed one of Atlanta’s first concept Parties “The Tri-State Party” which they took turns DJing. It is still talked about to this day. Battle has travelled to Amsterdam, Nigeria, Japan, Vancouver and many cities around the country to DJ.
After a brief hiatus, with much success in other business ventures, he has returned to his first love Music and the art of DJing. He is experienced in all types of occasions so, choose the heavyweight champ because you want an artist not just someone who plays music.
