For more than two decades Daryl Beier, the owner of Horizon Entertainment, has been conducting and coordinating wedding receptions to make dream weddings come true. In order to make sure that your wedding reception is fun and runs smoothly, you need some sort of event agenda. Through the use of wedding reception coordination guide sheets, Horizon Entertainment will help you plan your event to make your Big Day one that is memorable and as uniquely special as possible.
To begin planning your one-of-a-kind celebration, you and your fiancée will be invited to a face-to-face meeting with your actual DJ, the owner of Horizon Entertainment, to determine your goals and needs. Things that need to be considered will include the cocktail hour, introduction of the bridal party, bride and groom (Grand Entrance), cake cutting, table blessing, begin food service, toasts by the best man and maid of honor (possibly also parents and remarks by the bride and groom), dance floor opening / first dance, mother/son and father/daughter dances, garter and bouquet toss and the music and entertainment. You can, of course, arrange these events any way you want to. You may even choose to have some sort of a Grand Exit from the reception right before the party ends? Or another great idea, if you and your guests love to party, is to plan an after the wedding reception party, if you want to do something beyond your wedding reception
Once an agenda or schedule of events for your wedding reception has been created (an itinerary that works best for you and your guests) don’t forget to share it with your photographer and/or videographer, caterer, venue, etc. about two weeks prior to your event to make sure that all runs smoothly. You may even want to share this information with your guests by giving them a program prior to your event so they will know how your evening will unfold.

Just a quick note to say thank you for a great job on Saturday night at our 50th wedding anniversary party. We know this wasn't your usual job as I'm sure you're used to more dancers. We wish we hadn't been so tired as we really do like to dance and would have done more of it -- the music was great! We also appreciated you keeping the volume at a level where people could enjoy it, but still talk.
