undoubtedly the most versatile DJ in Southern California. Born in Texas in 1970, he started his DJ career in 1984 in various parties and school events throughout Longview, Texas. He expanded his career after moving to Yuma, AZ in 1992. DJ LA collaborated with BMC Entertainment and rotated throughout the club scene, including Club M and Jungle. In 1995 DJ LA became the resident DJ at Ron’s Place, he continued to expand his network through various weddings and private parties. DJ LA’s career expanded internationally including Guest appearances in Australia and Dubai. In 1999 DJ LA moved to Lancaster, CA and became the DJ and MC for various karate tournaments throughout the Kempo karate circuit. In 2003 DJ LA was the owner/operator of Funk Tone Records. Funk Tone Records was a thriving store that sold DJ only music, accessories and gear. Throughout his twenty three year career DJ LA has performed at events that span the music spectrum.
