 Work History:Private parties/club nights 2004-2007 For the last three years I’ve been freelancing, regularly DJing at one-off events such as fashion shows,corporate events and record launch parties. In addition I have been frequently DJing at private bookings playing all types of music including chart, R n B, hip-hop, mainstream dance, rock and 80’s. La Med, Cape Town, South Africa Summer 2004 I DJed at this premier Cape Town club on the famous Sundowner Sunday nights over the summer of 2004. I played a mixture of R n B, chart, commercial garage, commercial dance and classic floor fillers. Secrets, Swiss Cottage, London 2000-2003 Resident DJ at this exclusive club, playing 2/3 nights a week. I played a mixture of music which was mainly 80’s, 90’s, hip-hop, R n B, and dance tunes. ICR, 105.1 FM, Ipswich 1998-2000 I was the presenter of the Sunday morning breakfast show for this local radio station with an estimated 5,000 listeners. I prepared and presented a 2 hour show which was music that I chose and some requests. The music was Kiss FM style, R n B, commercial hip-hop and mainstream dance and garage. Gargoyle, Fulham Road, Chelsea 1996-1998 I was the resident weekend DJ at this private member’s club with a capacity of 180 people. As well as DJing for regular party crowds I also DJed private celebrity parties for club promoters, the England rugby team and style magazines. The music I played was a mixture of laidback tunes, chart, commercial dance and funky disco. Middlesex University, Tottenham, London 1993-1996 I was a resident DJ at my University campus, playing to crowds of between 300 - 500 people. I played a mixture of 80’s, chart and dance tunes. | |
