I am the single owner and operator of Xcite Music Entertainment. A fully insured professional DJ company based out from Lake in the Hills, IL. I have officially been in business since 2001. Me and other DJs in my team have been in the business for well over 10 years and are very well experienced. We take pride in providing quality sound and music to our clients. Besides DJ services, we also provide Video Jockey (VJ), Karaoke Jockey (KJ), Photo & Videographer services, Pro Audio and Pro Lighting services.

I use state-of-the-art and top-of-the-line, dj turntables as of today called CDJ-1000MKII for all of my DJ occassions. You don't have to worry if something will go wrong. These turntables are built so that they deliver high audio quality through the speakers. This system is a CD-based turntable and you can rely on every song that you request.
I use, two JBL 2000-watts ea. speakers. Enough to pump a room full of 500 people. I include basic light package, which includes a strobe light, and multi-colored disco light(sound activated) to add additional effects to the party.
Two Microphones are included. additional channel mixers are also available to hook up multiple instruments(guitar, drums, etc.) if a band is playing and etc... at additional price.
I also provide additional eqiupments or services upon request such as Fog Machine (fogger), Cassette Player (rarely used), additional Heavy Duty Speakers, Lights and etc... at additional charge.
I provide the latest hit music with all upgraded system. Sound system is great and we also offer visual effects in the party. I also provide all kinds of music that a customer requests, without missing any!

You pretty much have most of the vendors chosen for your wedding, but now onto the wedding DJ pricing. So how much does a wedding DJ cost? You will see many different wedding DJ prices. So, keep these points in mind and you will find the right one.
Cheap Wedding DJ Prices These prices will usually be in the ranges of $75 per hour or less. Many of these wedding DJ’s are part-time hobbyists. They might have no idea how to coordinate and deliver what you want at your wedding. Just call these companies and you will notice a huge difference with their customer service skills. This might be a risky deal because they might show up with low grade equipment (if they even show up at all). There is a possibility that you can spend $200-$400 on your wedding DJ and be happy, but you have to understand what cheap wedding DJ prices really mean.

Usually many are larger wedding DJ companies that subcontract 15-25 wedding DJ’s every weekend. They improve their profit margin this way (more DJ’s=smaller profit margin) to support advertisements and overhead. There are many good DJ’s that are subcontracted by these companies. I said earlier that there is a difference between a full-time company and part-time hobbyist. A full-time company depends on your referrals to generate future leads and business. When I say recent I mean 6 months or less when available. Any reputable company will be able to give you this information.

Other times, this price is determined by an owner with an over inflated ego. If their wedding DJ cost is expensive, then this does not mean that they have instant credibility. This price might be marked up since they do not have enough word of mouth referrals yet. You should not have to take out a second mortgage to pay for your wedding DJ cost.
