 Work History:Rick Myers has been performing throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, America, and The Middle East for more than 15 years. Most of his residencies have been in upfront contemporary dance clubs and throughout his career he’s been playing a unique blend of Global House to dance floors all over the world. “ Whatever’s Happening”, Rick’s spinning it! As a Performance DJ, Rick creates a unique mix of entertainment by combining the contemporary dance club format with Dance Choreography and live Performance Artists, Vocalists, Musicians, Percussionists, Horns, & Impersonators. Mr Myers is right in the middle of it all having fun, mixing, dancing, MC ing, sometimes even blowing on a trumpet. This sort of action transitions a dance club from one atmosphere to the next and it creates a colorful evening with different textures & a variety of flavors As a DJ Rick thinks it’s important to also be an entertainer. Music certainly moves people but there’s a lot more a DJ can offer a crowd than just cool tracks and clean mixing. That’s why he likes to present variety routines through- out an evening . Sometimes they’re ethnic, sexy, comical, artistic, or kitche. They offer people a short chance to focus on something besides the music and lights.
